Colleagues from International Relations, Counselling, the Students Union and Lecturers in FBMH delivered an interactive session alongside student participants on ‘Supporting International Students – Challenges and Opportunities’. The session was co-created and delivered by current students and colleagues from across the University. The session explored academic attainment, culture and culture values and transition issues as a background to the largest part of the session which was given over to discussion and reflection on experiences and concerns as well as agreement on potential ongoing actions. The session was designed under the action-focused framework to ensure participants were able to take a constructive action back to their work.
